Excerpts from My Favourites
Non-Fiction
- The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss
- Wow, I wish I had read this at 20 — in my opinion this should be mandatory reading in schools.
- The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma
- The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
- Yes, she probably had an easier time breaking through as a white lawyer. Still well written and very helpful as food for thought.
- The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman
- Yes, I know — controversial. In my opinion there is something to it, and after almost 30 years with the same woman it has shown me that we are doing everything right, because I give her exactly what she needs.
- You Can Read Anyone by David J. Lieberman
- Really good to know.
Novels
- Das Bienennest: Eine Welt ohne Maenner by Marie-Louise Winkler
- I have to note that I always wanted to write a book myself but never dared. This book gave me the courage to pursue my vision.
- Der Zeitbruechige (4 books total)
- Although the second book personally is not my favourite.
- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
- In my opinion should also be mandatory reading in secondary school.
Fantasy
- Die Chroniken der Seelenwaechter by Nicole Boehm (40 books)
- Devoured every single one.
- Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh (14 books)
- Schattenelfen (Trilogy) by Bernhard Hennen
- An excellent trilogy.
- Das Erbe der Macht by Andreas Suchanek (40 books)
- Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill (13 books)
- Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris (15 books)
- Tougher than usual, really gets under your skin — but very well written.
